Bristol Valor

Bristol, a service dog in training, is named in honor of Spencer Bristol. Spencer was a Master Patrol Officer with the Henderson (TN) Police Department and a United States Navy veteran. He was killed in the line of duty on December 30, 2019 while pursuing a suspect. Spencer was an incredible person and a dog lover. Bristol will be training with our Tampa program.

Welcome Bristol, we can't wait to watch him grow and begin his service dog journey!

Bristol graduated in October 2025 and was placed as a Facility Dog for the Kissimmee Police Department.

Valor Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that helps post-9/11 wounded veterans regain their independence, return to civilian life, and maintain their warrior ethos. We make this happen by training and placing mobility assistance and PTSD service dogs with our veterans. In addition to aiding veterans in community reintegration - both physically and psychologically, Valor Service Dogs will bring awareness and education to the general public on service dogs, their training, and the laws that allow service dogs to be active members of society.
