Andi Valor

Andi, a service dog in training, is named after Andi Broom, a US Army Veteran. Broom deployed with a Navy SEAL unit and served as a member of an elite Special Operations team where she spent much of her time on top secret missions around the world. During a training exercise, her parachute malfunctioned, and she plummeted approximately six stories to the ground. The impact of the fall collapsed both lungs, tore her aorta, shattered her pelvis, and broke bones in both her arms and legs. She was given little chance of surviving, but after dozens of surgeries she began her road to recovery. She relearned to walk, talk and use her right arm again. Today, she’s enjoying her retirement from the military with her rescue dog, Honey. Andi will be training with our Tampa program.

Welcome Andi, we can't wait to watch her journey to service dog stardom!
