Charity Valor

Charity, a Service Dog in Training, is named for Charity Adams Earley a United States Army officer during World War II and the first African American woman to become an officer in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. She was the commanding officer of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only multi-ethnic US Women’s Army Corps unit sent overseas during World War II and was the highest-ranking African American woman in the Army by the end of the war. Charity will be training with our Georgia program.

We're excited for Charity's journey to Service Dog and we're pretty sure she'll be a trailblazer, too!
