Penny Valor

Penny, a service dog in training, is named for the tradition of leaving a penny on the headstone of a military member or veteran as a symbol of honor and respect to let the family know that someone has visited the grave.

Penny, light blue collar, is from Walker Valor’s first litter and will be training with our Tampa program. Walker’s litter, whelping through the first eight weeks, was sponsored by Scoop Soldiers. Penny will be training with our Tampa program.

We are so excited to see this sweet girl as she begins her journey!

Denver Valor

Denver, a service dog in training, is named for the Denver Drill, a training technique to remove a firefighter from a small space. The drill was created in response to a Denver, Colorado firefighter line of duty death. He will be training with our Tampa program.

Welcome Denver, we are excited to watch his journey to service dog!

Denver graduated and was placed with his forever Veteran in August 2024.

Lexi Valor

Lexi, a service dog in training, is named after the USS Lexington, an Essex-Class Aircraft Carrier commissioned in 1943. During WWII, the carrier participated in major operations supporting the Pacific Theater, including Pearl Harbor. She will be training with our Tampa program.

Rolo Valor

Rolo, a service dog in training, is named after the 75th Ranger Regiment's Ranger O Low Titer (ROLO) Whole Blood Program. This program was developed with international and military medical providers of the Trauma Hemostasis and Oxygenation Research (THOR) network to bring emergency blood transfusion from the hospital environment to the battlefield. He will be training with our Georgia program. We are excited to share your journey, Rolo!

Rolo left the program in January 2024.

Emma Valor

Emma, a service dog in training, is named after the Emma capnograph, a portable medical device used by EMS, critical care and air medical transport providers to measure C02 and endotracheal tube placement in patients in challenging, pre-hospital environments. She will be training with our Tampa program. We can’t wait to watch her journey to service dog stardom!

Emma left the program in June 2023.

Lucas Valor

Lucas, a service dog in training is named after the LUCAS device. This medical device is a battery-operated automatic compression device that not only improves the quality of CPR being performed on patient’s by providing uninterrupted compressions, but also enhances the safety of the first responders caring for patients in cardiac arrest. Lucas is currently training with our Georgia program. We know you will do great things, Lucas!

Lucas left the program in February 2024.

Murphy Valor

Murphy, a service dog in training is sponsored by Lone Goose Lodge and was donated by NEADS World Class Service Dogs. He is named in honor of Michael P. Murphy, a US Navy SEAL who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the war in Afghanistan. Murphy will be training with our Tampa program. We’re excited to watch this sweet boy grow!

Murphy graduated and was placed with his forever First Responder hero in March 2024.

Daisy Valor

Daisy, a service dog in training was donated by Warrior Canine Connection and is being sponsored by Scoop Soldiers. She is named for the Daisy Award, which is a recognition program for nurses nominated by patients or other colleagues for extraordinary care in nursing. We are excited to share your journey, Daisy!

Daisy graduated and was placed with her forever First Responder hero in September 2023.

Betty Valor

Betty, a service dog in training is sponsored by Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc. and Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. She is named in honor of the late Betty White who served in the American Women’s Volunteer Services during WWII. Betty is currently training with our Tampa program. We’re excited to have you as a recruit, Betty!

Betty graduated and was placed with her forever Veteran in July 2023.

Collins Valor

Collins, a service dog in training, is named after Air Force Colonel Eileen Collins. Colonel Collins was the first woman to command a space shuttle mission in July 1999. Collins will be training with our Tampa program and is sponsored by Quantum Peak Consulting and the Gower Family. We are so excited to watch Collins grow!

Collins graduated in September 2023 and was placed as a facility dog with a government agency.

Walker Valor

Walker, a service dog in training, was donated by Warrior Canine Connection and is sponsored by the Campbell Family Foundation. She is currently training with our Tampa program. Walker is named after Mary Walker who was a surgeon in the US Army during the Civil War and is the only female Medal of Honor recipient. Welcome, Walker!

Walker graduated in January 2024 and was placed as a facility dog with Tampa General Hospital Aeromed.

Elsie Valor

Elsie, a service dog in training, is sponsored by Darling Ingredients. She will be training with our Tampa program. Elsie is named in honor of Elsie S. Ott who was in the US Army Air Corp in WWII and pioneered air evacuations of wounded personnel. We know that smiling face is going to be an amazing service dog partner!

Elsie graduated and was placed with her forever Veteran in September 2023.
