Mattie, a service dog in training, is named for General James Mattis, US Marine Corps (Ret.), who served more than four decades in the military. Known for his leadership and strategic expertise, he commanded forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan and later served as the 26th U.S. Secretary of Defense. Mattie will be training with our Florida program.
We are excited to watch Mattie’s journey to Service Dog.
